I need a website where I can upload files to store them, so they don't take up to much space on my computer.

I was looking recently for the free file storage space with relatively big files to upload. There are few I reviewed:

http://www.bigupload.com/
http://www.bolt.com/
http://www.filefactory.com/
http://www.rapidsharing.com/
http://www.zupload.com/index.php
http://megaupload.com/
http://rapidshare.de/
http://www.sendspace.com/
http://depositfiles.com/en/

They all worked fine for me. The uploading speed is almost the same, more or less. But I decided to choose File Front. This site limitations suites completely my needs both personal and business:
http://www.filefront.com

Good Luck.

There are several paid sites where you can upload information by paying certain amount.

But why to pay when you have Yahoo and Google as the sites where you can store a file using an email.Space is unlimited.
So buddy why to pay..

My suggestion rely on some data back up using CD-R/RW or Pen drive/Zip Drive

For Data Back up , use this link: www.microsoft.com/athome/security/update/backup.mspx

Buy a domain name from 1&1. (~$6/year)
Besides the 1G mailbox with your domain name, you get a 5 page website, an easy to use sitebuilder, etc.
http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=8292866
If you need more space, 1&1's hosting is
$2.24/month for 5G or $3.74 for 100G!

If you don't need you own domain, use Writely. It's free.

or use Mediamax (formerly Streamload)

25 G storage (!) 1 G download/month FREE

If you have an AIM screenname you can get XDrive for free. It comes with 5GB of free online storage you can access anywhere. You could either access the stuff from the web, or download the XDrive program.

www.xdrive.com.

If you need to know more about it, email me at ssavoy@gmail.com

RapidShare, MegaUploads, SpeedShare, and many more. Google the term "file storage", or just Google the above names for links.
