When applying for city position and answering supplemental questions, do I double space or single space?

I'm answering supplemental questions for a city position. The job posting mentions to avoid answering the 5 questions with more than 3 pages. It doesn't specify if I have to double space or not. Do I have to single space, double space, or does it even matter? Thanks for your help! Greetings! =)

Were I the reader, I'd prefer 1 1/2 line spacing.

if i had better than one question, then i might prefer areas between the numerous solutions... it makes them extra handy to envision if it became into only one question, nonetheless, it is not correct.
