It depends on what you define as "better". Personally, I think boxers look better and are more comfortable. Briefs are liked by many people and offer much better support which is good while playing sports. Briefs can cause a problem in which they pull a mans testicles closer to his body, the added heat of which can cause sperm to die, making it harder for him to concieve. There are also boxer-briefs, which offer the same support, but cover some of the leg too.

depends on the situation. boxers are good for a regular day, but if you have to ride a bike or run or whatever, briefs are a better choice because you won't get a wedgie. i prefer boxers most of the time, but only if they are button fly because sometimes my junk will make an apperance. i like briefs because of the support and they hold your goods.
