There are programs available that slow your computer down by bombarding the processor with information. This allows you to play many older games that were not designed for the processors of today. Try here:

windows these days doesn't run based on ms-dos anymore so that should be the broplem so if it's really worth it then get a windows 95 or a windows 98 operating system boot cd and partition it to yor pc and the game should work fine but windows xp won't be there anymore as far as slowing it down when it runs on xp i am no professional so i don't really know or have any idea what is going on although i have a lot of experience with computers.

you could do a number of things. the easiest and tidiest is to download and run a virtual machine like vmware. With vmware you can load windows 98 as a guest operating system inside your xp operating system. Anything that you do in your guest 98 operating system does not affect your xp host operating system.

This is also a great way to try demos without upseting your windows configuration.

you can download vmware here:

I think you might want to do a search for 'DOS Emulator'. There are emulators to run just about every old system on your newer Mac or PC.
From Amstrad, to Texas Instruments, to C-64, to NES, to MAME or whatever.
