you could take points off people who don't even attempt to answer a question but just post anything to get the points.

I agree completely. I think we should be allowed to deduct ten points for worst answer to. It seems only fair. If we can pick best answer, why not worst as well?

Yes it really frustrates me. I mean they just come on here to leave empty answers to build up points??? What is the point! Seems like a real waste of time and a rather strange hobby. You cant be getting anything out of it. It makes no sense to me.

I think you can chose to have answers deleted but I'm not certain. And yeah it is stupid to answer a question just to get the points.
