I travel a lot so a video is good for airplanes, and plus the 20 hours of battery for music is cool. Then, I like the nano because it has such nice colors and is nice and thin. I love music, both old and new. Plus, my brother has the video and it got all scratched up and stuff. Do they both get scratched up? How can I prevent it? Yes, I know I'm dumb but I can't decide wether tto pay the extra 50 bucks.

Video, definitely. Buy a good case to prevent the scratches (and to change the color, if that's an issue). You can store MUCH more on the Video iPod than on the Nano. The color Nano is only 4GB, which is about 1,000 songs. The smaller Video iPod is 30GB, about 7,500 songs. You can get an 8GB Nano, but it only comes in black, and it cost exactly the same as the 30GB Video iPod.
The Nano plays music and displays pictures - that's it. The Video also plays music videos, television shows, and movies. They're available for purchase through iTunes and cost about $2 for a video or a television show, and between $10 and $15 for movies.
I have a 30GB Video iPod, and I highly recommend it.

The iPod video is way better than the nano!! I'll say go for it. I has so many feautures, you have movies, music videos, tv shows, games, and tons of music. And yeah, they both get scratched so get the video one.

I would say the video. Not only can you watch tv shows and movies, but you can play games on it, too, and have your contacts and calendar. There are tons and tons of free podcasts out there for it, and you will have so much more space to store them on the video. Oh, there's audiobooks, too! I am just amazed at all the features on the video ipod!

Think about it, what do you enjoy more? Watching vedios or listing to music. I would get the vedio. But thats my option.

it only get scratched up because he doesn't take of it, i have the 60g video i love it and NO scratches !!!

uhh niether. creative zen vision m is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. i mean the screens colors are cooler more brighter and also it has more features and better quality.
