I thought about your question and instead of listing the differences in politics, religion, monetary disparity and the like.... I thought that perhaps a quick look at the 10 Commandments..and I don't mean in just the religious context. Most of the reasons we seem to hate each other or the actions we take in reaction to those reasons are pretty much touched on by these 10 guidelines.
Just a thought.

Not everyone hates each other. Although there are a lot of people who do. For those of us who don't hate everyone, it's a bit hard to answer that question. I don't hate anyone, but I'm guessing that other people hate everyone because they hate themselves and they want to put the troubles on someone else to make them hate themselves too.. usually it doesn't work though.

fear. every body fears the next group of people. Cristian's fear Muslims. Muslims fear the Jewish people. its a cycle of doubt and fear. and it's human nature to destroy what we don't know or fear. no matter how technically advanced the human race becomes we still have primitive thoughts stuck in our minds.

Its our nature to dislike others and to judge others not only because of their race or color but by their appearance, clothes, sex, religion. all of these and more combine to create hate. its one thing to hate someone but its another thing to take it to the extent of doing damage unto them.
