Why is it SO many people in the world (and YES ESPICALLY on this site) blame all the problems that aren't even related to software on viruses?

An estimated 70% of computer users don't have anti-virus and often download unsigned, or freeware. Which often puts malicious software on their computer. Often you can even have a Trojan dropped on your computer at random. They ping ip ranges to find open computers a lot. Its safe to assume that if you were using a program yesterday alright, and then you turned off your computer and turned it back on it didn't work quite right or the computer started acting fuzzy when it wasn't doing that before shutdown it was a virus.

You are assuming that average everyday computer use can slow down your computer, yes it can but it would take years, it would often require redundant computer software removal to cause this or even redundant file removal, which the average computer user doesn't do because they don't want to mess up their computer, they are computer conscious as I would say. Booting up and down a computer WONT cause it to go slow, lack of memory (which the average computer user does understand) can, lack of an enlarged paging file can slow down a computer (however, windows does enlarge it if it needs to so why should they care?). The general computer user isn't stupid, they understand that 1+1=2 and that if I didn't do anything that I'm not supposed to do its a virus. There is no need to know the inner workings of a computer to understand this concept. Actually it doesn't even matter if you do, because a virus wont mess up your Processor and if its a bios virus you can run down to any computer engineer and have them replace that bios chip stat (if your computer is worth it at least).

when someone says a weird pop up keeps popping up on my computer. Its malicious software, which is considered a virus to the general public. They don't need to be "politically correct" because if they were then they wouldn't need you would they?

The problem is not with them its actually with most of the supposed knowledgeable computer users who supposedly know all about the inner workings of a computer, however, as the knowledgeable you criticize the people who don't understand rather then help and inform them. Talking trash to them wont help them better understand. Computer "knowledgeable" people are to cocky nowadays and assume they are a step above everyone else, which is exactly why they aren't out there making the money helping people, they are stuck at home playing on computers part-time or in moms basement while they work at MC. Donald's. Should I say corrective criticism or perhaps active training or patriotism? Knowledge is such a powerful tool, instead of using it to talk trash use it to help inform people of what they should do!

Viruses will be transmitted through the air through a sneeze or cough or touching an contaminated floor. you would were contaminated earlier she were given sick and it really is only now manifesting. i'd not difficulty, there is continually a danger yet your indicators are worry-free and she or he appears like she had a gentle case, too. appears like a 24 hour computer virus.

It's an easy way out, I suppose. I don't think most people realize that when they point a finger at viruses, three more fingers are pointing back at them - there are good, free, effective anti-virus programs (AVG and Avast) and it really is silly not to use one.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus and protect your PC. but you need to pay for the software

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

because many people here don't know about what actually goes on inside the computer so they just assume its a virus that is causing it to run slow or freeze..and thats just weird.
