you have to leave the state the city is in and always end up in another state when you leave, but the catch is that you always have to end up in the same state. It's only in the continental US (the 48). Please help if you can

Maybe Hawaii, Just think if you would go swimming in the ocean you are leaving the state, you get out of the water and you are back in, because it is an Island.

I think you might be confused. There is no such place...just look at the map. In order for that to be true, you would have a state that is inside a state, and that's impossible.
