Again, fractions. When you make everything on the bottom have a 7, you get:

c/7+336/7=336/7

Take the top numbers to make a new equation, which reads:

c+336=336
c=336-336
c=0

Now we put our answer in to see if we're right.

0/7+48=48
0+48=48
0=48-48
0=0

Whenever you have a fraction with a zero on top, you can simply drop the bottom number off. Whether you have zero sevenths or zero thirds, you still have nothing, so the value is zero.

c/7 + 48 = 48 You want to get the x alone, so you need to get rid of the +48 first. To get rid of the +48, you need to do the opposite (-48).

c/7 + 48 = 48
-48 -48

What ever you do on the left side of the equation, you must do on the right. Now you have:

c/7 = 0 You need to do the opposite of division to get rid of the 7 on the left which is multiplication. Multiply each side by 7.

(7)* c/7 = 0 * 7

c= 0

I hope that this helps! Good luck in Math!
