There are several ways. You can plug it into your computer with the USB cable that came with it. You can buy a portable charger (like the Power Block) that folds flat and is portable. It plugs into a regular outlet. If you have docking speakers for your iPod (there are many different choices available), they probably charge your iPod when the speakers are plugged in (rather than running off battery).
