Lovely dress, but I'm not sure you'd want to wear this to a wedding. You'd probably upstage the bride and that would be a major faux pas. Here are some rules and tips to go by:

Wedding guest style for her

Informal Daytime:
Short dress or suit (business attire OK for morning weddings)
Informal Evening:
Cocktail dress
Semi-Formal Daytime:
Short dress or suit
Semi-formal Evening:
Cocktail dress
Formal Daytime:
Short dress or suit. Hats and gloves optional.
Formal Evening or Black-Tie:
Long or dressy short cocktail (beading, glam accessories,
wrap)
Ultra-formal or White Tie:
Long gown, extra glitz (furs, diamonds, etc.)

Do's and Don'ts for Her

Don't wear white because it competes with the bride. There are plenty of other colors available.

Don't wear black or sequins during the daytime.

Don't worry about wearing the same colors as the bridesmaids or mothers. You can't possibly coordinate with everyone in the wedding party.

Clubwear, overtly sexy clothing (strapless, see-through, etc) doesn't belong at a wedding. If you have to ask if it's appropriate, it probably isn't.

Don't wear opera-length gloves (to top of arm) with anything but sleeveless or strapless gowns.

Do take off gloves to eat or drink.

Do use good judgment if the invitation doesn't specify the formality of the event. A pastel suit or soft floral dress for daytime or a little black dress for evening (after 6 p.m.) will take you almost anywhere.

I think it's beautiful..great style too! I agree with some others about bringing something to cover your shoulders in case you get cold. You don't want to be uncomfortable. There was a comment that the dress needed to be shorter and another that stated that it was a bit much..Not at all..it is beautiful and perfect for a wedding. Don't change the dress. Honestly, I couldn't have picked a better outfit to wear. Love the ear rings too.

ok it quite is kinda confusing... the two the clothing can do with some transformations so ill inform you the two and it your pick... in the 1st outfit the the main efficient component that would desire to get replaced is the handbag the colour of the handbag is a ways to bright for it to bypass with the mild purple dress... attempt to get a handbag that fits with the two your jewelery or your shoes... i might get a handbag that would desire to tournament my jewelery because of the fact a bag is like and accessory and with a bag it is silver it would make your silver jewlery stand out.... the 2d dress.. as quickly as I first looked on the 2d dress the assumption it quite is lots prettier then the 1st one.. yet i looked closer and that i observed those hideous purple shoulder thingy ... in case you may get that off the dress then one hundred% this dress.. different then that this dress is rather somewhat!

That dress is very cute, it would look great for a wedding. But if the ceremony is in a church, I would bring a little something to cover your shoulders with. That's usually done to be modest.

R u really going to spend as much money as the dress and shoes cost?! That is alot! I would go with diamond earrings, either studs or teardrop and if you dont have any, get a pair of cubic zirconias.

I think you hae the right idea but do you really want to spend that much for a one time outfit? Instead of that dress try this dress from JcPenny for 225 dollars less, http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx?DeptID=597&CatID=35053&CatTyp=DEP&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=1019f83&ProdSeq=13&Cat=fun+%26+flirty&Dep=Women%27s&PCat=Dresses%2bSuits&PCatID=28247&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&ProdCount=33&RecPtr=&ShowMenu=&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&RefPageName=CategoryAll.aspx&RefCatID=28247&RefDeptID=597&Page=2&CmCatId=597|28247|35053
And instead of those pumps try these from Aldo they are 465 less http://www.aldoshoes.com/eng/storeSection/redirect.cfm?sectionID=b2c/style/productDetails.cfm&itemID=62006862&&var=d&ckey=US
And instead the earrings are fine.
Cute picks!
