You already have JNJ recommended. I concur. But attempting to pick just one stock is not a wise thing to do. There are too many unknows. Pick about 10, some large cap, some foreign, some smaller cap, some in developing countries and some value plays.
CHL and SAY and IIF as developing market plays
JNJ and MMM as large caps
BAC and C and HD as value plays
NFLX and FTO as small cap plays
But PENNX as a better small cap play (a mutual fund)
