I believe in God because He is and always has been. He is the Alpha and Omega. I was created in His image and am a true daughter of the Most High God. I was bought by the holy blood of the Lamb. I am redeemed from my sins. God created the heavens and earth . He also created man, who was created with the inborn desire to worship. We are the only thing on earth that God created in His image. We are His children and set apart from animal or anything else He made.
Jesus was sent to deliver the people from sin and death. The Bible speaks of him as the Lamb Of God who takes away the sins of the world. I do not consider myself ignorant because I serve the Lord, who died in my place and took my punishment. Jesus said that his sheep would know his voice.

People believe in God because the spiritual urge is present in everyone, regardless of who they are, where they live or what name they call whatever they believe in - organized religion is designed as a ready-t-use package which will fulfill that need without its subscribers having to do the actual "seeking enlightenment", and thus appeals to those too busy or too lazy to do their metaphysical labor themselves. We think; we feel; we understand that one day we will die; these things lead us to quest for more meaning - because there must be more to life than this stinkin' job & this messy house, right?

Because God is the Creator of all things, it was thru the ages before Jesus that God spoke directy to Moses, Caan etc. and with them having Faith, there were many people saved. But then there was some that turned from God and started idolizing other Gods' as we saw in Sodemn & Gomoroh their sexual sins and their not giving Praise where Praise was due the city was destoyed. So he saw Mary and saw that she was a woman of strong faith and chose her to carry the babe named "Jesus", Jesusu related and experienced what they went thru and thru the Spirit of God was able to cleanse them of their sins, and perform (so they say miracles) he spoke of the Truth of the Living God (his father)his one Prayer was for people to Love one another, as they would love them-selfs, not a very hard thing to do (so you would imagine) but it seems to be man-kinds biggest problem...I think so...

Why is that people who have beliefs are all the sudden ignorant? I think you should read up on his teachings and you might think twice before you call people ignorant. I just think the ignorant part is uncalled for, I think any kind of over all judgment call is not right no matter what people may believe.

You have the right to say whatever you feel and so do I. When the time comes, it's going to be so beautiful, when Jesus returns and proves to non believers that he and his Father exist and when non believers, see for themselves, that they are both real, it's going to be too late, for all you non believers. May God forgive them, for they know, not what they say.

If I were to choose anyone to herd people, it would be Jesus.
He came to save us all, ignorant, proud know-it-alls, and everyone else, all alike.
What's so bad about believing about God? When you have people believing in horoscopes, tarot cards, lucky numbers, etc. A little religion will help dull the pain.

There's nothing that will make me not believe in God. As for being ignorant, time will tell if it's heaven or hell.
