Rent is my favorite as well. I saw it in on Broadway first several times. Then in the theatre four times (three times alone because my husband refused to see it again!) and bought it as soon as it came out on DVD. Rent is a magical and inspirational production. All of the characters are unique and original. The story line is awesome.. Its all about living life to the fullest as if each moment were your last... As Mimi says "No day but today." I love each character for a different reason. Angel is indescribable: she truly represents friendship and pure love. I love her charismatic attitude and how she welcomes everyone into her heart. Mimi makes the transition of a lifetime in this show. She is able to leave behind all of her old ways and become this new beautiful being because of love.. because of Roger. Roger represents a little piece in all of us.. the stubborn pesimestic part.. and he too changes because of love. Maureen and Joanne are spunky and fun. Their relationship is humorous and full of life. I have to say my favorite character is Mark Cohen. He is sort of the glue of their family friendship. I love the way he cares so deeply for all of his friends and how he looks out for them before he looks out for himself. I love all of the songs. My two favorites are What you own and Light my candle. I also love Christmas Bells.. but they didnt put that song in the movie.. it was on the broadway stage version. I love the movie and the stage cast as well. They all rock. La Vie Boheme!
Second in line is Save the Last Dance with Julia Stiles and Sean Patrick Thomas. This is a marvelous teen-hip hop movie that makes you want to dance along. A very good romance movie with fantstic music and acting. It encourages teens to be against racisim and violence. It is moving and inspirational.

High school Musical. It a disney movie. It about these to teen that meet at a new year eve party. They sing The start Of Somthing new.
