I have problems walking also.
If the person your communicating with mentions some sort of athletic endeavor in their ad - tell them immediately.
If you can't walk at all and need some sort of walker or wheelchair tell them immediately, if you have a limp or use a cane you can surprise them.

Well I would advise that u tell the person right from the start u had a conversation. The reason being, Being honest and direct from the start will make u see what type of person the other person is. If the person dun min, then it be good.... just imagine when u had a very long converstaion with the person which may last for a few days, then suddenly u told that person about your diability, if the person started ignoring u, how will u feel.... u think yar....

i am disabled too,i cant talk without the use of an electrolarynx, due to throat cancer. i would be honest from the start and give out that info, when you do your profile. if the person is still interested in a relationship with you physically or otherwise they will make that decision. honesty is always best.If you dont follow that rule , you are only letting yourself in for dissapointment.

There's no absolute right answer. But my opinion is that you put it in your profile (maybe a lightthearted joke.) If someone can't handle this about you, you probably don't want to waste your time with them.
At the very least, before the first date.
Best luck!!

This was a tough one. As I thought on it, I realized that after the initial first chats, if I'm feeling that person based on our conversations, I'd prefer if I was told before if we ever met in person, only so I wouldn't be surprised. The person you should be looking for is the person who doesn't give a damn. So when you tell should be your own personal choice. : )

Right from the start, that way they can't come back on you and say you didn't tell me.(whine, whine, whine)
Beside that have you ever stopped to think, are they being honest with you?
If they makes such a big deal about it, scratch them off your list, they aren't worth it.

my oldest brother was and he was honest but not really forth-right with it. he didn't ever just sling it out there but if it came up he would graciously inform the person and no one was usually uncomfortable. afterall that isn't who you are all though it is a part of you it is not what you are all about. just relax and be yourself and if it doesnt come up before you meet in person then just go with it.

You should have that in your personal ad so there is no misunderstandings. Be honest!! If you havn't done that already, how would that person ever trust you? Good luck on your ad.

Right from the beginning. You don't want to waste your time on someone to whom this is an obstacle.

Be open and honest fairly soon after you make connection online if it seems as though you may meet.
