Don't fill it up so much. If it still does it, take it back. Water and electricity don't go together.

Mine has always done the same thing. I emptied all the water out of it, and just use a spray bottle to spray clothes a bit before I iron them instead of steaming them.

Maybe you have too much water in it. If it still leaks then I'd return it to the store you bought it from.

there might be a hole in the tube (or the connection could be loose) which carries the water to hot part of the iron. best if u bring it back to the shop asap.

make sure the iron is heated fully before using and try putting less water in it.keep some on the side when u need to refill.
