how about a business that sells what the winning lottery numbers are going to be? i'm sure there would be a lot of demand for that.

Choose something that you are passionate about (being a business owner is hard work, but well worth the benefits) and that you have some experience in. Do some research in your area and see how many other business of that same type are say, within a 5-mile radius of where you plan to operate your business. Make your business unique - offer something that your competitors are not offering. I would think some sort of typing service or secretarial service would be good - but then again, it depends on what area you live in. These ideas would probably not work well in rural areas where you would have less clientele. If you are in a rural area, I would think something you could do utilizing the Internet would be a better choice. Best of luck to you!
