Food can be stored in either the root (Sweet potato), stem (celery, rhubarb) or leaves (lettuce).
At the cellular level, cell sap vacuoles.

In most of the plants the leaves store food,but there are modified parts like root, stem etc in other.

I'm not sure I understand your question, however...
Animals store extra energy as glycogen and as fat.
Plants store extra energy as starches.
