Get a VCR. That way you can watch a show on one station while you record the other show on the other station. Just program the VCR to record on the station you will be recording on. Then turn the TV channel to the other station. The VCR will know.

Television isn't that important to me, but it does happen. I have to choose between Gilmore Girls and House, One Tree Hill and Criminal Minds, etc. So, I watch House and One Tree Hill. I can live without television, and I can live without having to watch every show I like. Just choose one, and forget about the other until the season comes out on DVD. Or until they start airing the reruns or the new season like House seems to be doing Saturday nights on USA.

Heck Yeah!!!!!!
I hate switching from channel to channel. So I put two 13" televisions in my room so i won't miss a thing. I wish we as citizens could select the show and the time. I can't be missing my One Tree Hill, The O.C., Gilmore Girls, Grey's anatomy, Veronica Mars, and Lost.

WOW-rabbit ears you must not be a kid!! In this day and age I am surprised if any one uses those anymore. Usually every1 has cable. If you have a VCR or DVD player you can record 1 show while watching another. It has to be set up right to do it though. Trying to help............ :-)

Yes, i can't stand it because you want to see both shows so badly, but you have to make a choice. It happens to me all the time, in the end i pick which is more important and watch the other on the commercial breaks, it works out okay.

I do hate it but that is one of the reason I got a DVR...actually I have 2 DVR boxes so it makes it easier to get in all the shows I enjoy. You should think about upgrading if your budget allows. Sorry about that but I totally understand

I agree. I also pick the most important one, and then I also decide which one will be replaying the episode again during the week (if it is on a channel like TLC, Bravo, Discovery) or if I know they will do a marathon (Mtv Real World).

Wednesdays are the worst!! I have to tape Bones and Criminal Minds in one room, tape Top Model in another room, and watch Bigest Loser. The best thing is that I can watch them with my hubby on Saturdays when he's home instead of trying to explain them to him in the mornings.

Yes, and it happens all the time. Either nothing is one or 2-3 shows at once!

Nope... Takes care of the commercials. Don't have to watch them then.
I don't watch that much tv anyway though.
