You certainly need a building permit for new building. If it is addition to the existing structure,check your city's bylaws.

I think you should ask that question to your wife first. Why should someone raise a building that is so short that other building hide it under their shadow.Why allowing a building to be raise for so short amount of time.

if its only temporary, then no permit is required..

youll need a lot of iron to make it stay up longer..

there may be a discount if its a woman contractor..
