They are only interested in the fruit so not to worry.

I don't think so. Mix a small dish with vinegar and a little dishsoap. The fruit flies will be attracted to that.

No. They live on overripe decaying fruit that they lap up the juices from. They have no ability to bite and no interest in tasting people.
