There are a couple that can bid for the title. Cameco in Canada I believe is the current largest producer. It is traded on NYSE and TSX. NYSE closing price $41.24. The time to have purchased it was in 2003 when it traded at $5.00+. They claim 20% of the world production. However, Australia has larger reserves. BHP Billiton in Australia but they are such a large company that Uranium is small potatoes to them. Cameco also has interests in Autralia. Rio Tinto and Cogema are large companies having inertests in Autralia.

I assume you are referrring to uranium production. There is no one company that controls uranium the way the De Beers cartel controls diamonds. Here is a link to an article by Deutsche Bank on the world's large uranium producers. This particular article seems to favor ERA (Energy Resouces of Australia) as a good investment.
