well, it's up to you to decide because that's an opinion....
wikipedia is an online encyclopedia. however, anyone can change it, but some people don't bother. if it's something you need to research, you'd better use wikipedia. yahoo answers is for non-research stuff, like stuff you want real people to answer. would you get something good about "what is most people's favorite type of cookie" from wikipedia? you might, but it'll be easier to go to yahoo answers. people get the answers for you. if you're looking for information on albert einstein, however, wikipedia might be better. a lot of people go on yahoo answers to answer questions so you can get a lot of different answers or opinions, but not many people add stuff to wikipedia. if they do, though, it'll be a lot of information. some people here on yahoo answers give cheap answers. wikipedia doesnt have that kind of stuff. so, what do you think?

it depends !
Yahoo Questions rocks ! It seems much more entertaining, and interactive, and it does provide some kinds of information that Wikipedia doesn't ! If you're stumped at a question and need a boost to what you're actually looking for, Yahoo Questions helps a lot; whereas, Wikipedia will leave you still wondering where to start looking for answers. Yahoo Questions can tackle more kinds of questions, including opinions and "street-smarts"...
Although, Wikipedia is very informative, even authoritative with all its very thorough information. You can get much more detail information on some things, such as chemistry, history, etc...
Its one very informative source of professional information.
They're both better than each other, in different ways ! :)
Smile and use them both accordingly ! :)

Quite often I see the two combined!! People ask on YA and you get answered by Wikipedia!!
If you don't want to look up the answer yourself use YA otherwise go straight to the source!!
YA provides more entertainment and variety than Wikipedia for me.

It more or less one and the same. If you ask a serious question on Y! answers no doubt the majority of answers you get will be cut and pasted from wikipedia.

Absolutely not!!
The majority of answers on here are people referencing Wikipedia. Yahoo Answers is a service provided for lazy or incompetent people who have never learnt to google search!
I'm still not entirely sure why I hang around here - its just too blummin' addictive.

Yes and No, it depends on what you want like if you need help training a dog then you wouldn't want to go to wikipedia you would want to come here unless you are researching something like the cold war then you go to wikipedia.

They're quite different things, it's like comparing apples and oranges. But I'd say that on the whole Wikipedia is really more useful.

Wikipedia is not maintained, you could post crap on there too!
I prefer answers mostly as you get opinions as well as facts.
