Here in California there have been a few political ads that are very negative against candidate Smith and then the last sentence states that this is paid for by Jones. Jones says nothing about himself. Would you vote for Jones or would you ignore the negative and vote for Smith just because of the negative ads? (The names are not real.)

I loathe mud-slinging campaigns. Sadly, here in Kentucky, there are so few candidates for any election that all the candidates
pay for negative ads about their opponents. I tend to ignore all the ads because they are distorted and misleading. I tune them out
and do my own research before casting my vote.

If someone didnt vote for a candidate because of an ad, then maybe they shouldnt be voting if they cant do a little research of their own to see for themselves what the candidate may be about...etc... we all should know by now that ads smearing politicians names are more likely to be Propaganda from the opponents party / campaign!! There could be some truth to the ad, but how would you know if you didnt figure it out for yoursself and see

truly, in our section, there have been some out and out lies about some politicians. It has helped me come to a call who i'm balloting for. i'm no longer balloting for the liars. And yet another challenge, there's a guy operating for Governor of Florida. His call is Charlie Crist and that i develop into going to vote for him till he hung 2 thirty foot posters of himself on homes in downtown Tampa. Posters that enormous are a criminal offense right here and once giving observe they have 30 days to remove them. So even with if he knows that they are unlawful he's not eliminating them till after the elections because he has 30 days to finish that. i'm no longer balloting for him both now. in the journey that they are going to knowingly destroy the regulation as a fashion to get a vote, then they free my vote.
