Im looking to buy a new gaming rig and I want to know what would be the cheapest store (or store to buy the parts and custom build) to get it from.

Case: 420w or more power supply

Motherboard: Holds atleast 8gb of RAM, can crossfire/sli, can hold pci-e videocards

Processor: Intel dual core 2 e6400/ Athlon 64 x2 4800-5000

Processor cooling: whatever you recommend that isn't extremely expensive.

RAM: 2 GB decent quality

Video: ATI Radeon x1900XTX\ nvidia equivalent

Hard Drive: 160 gb preferably more is fine.

Sound Card: dont really give a crap as long as it works

monitor: none

Periphials: nothing

ibuypower.com is the cheapest I could find for this, but please let me know if you know of anything cheaper!

You could call Dell, tell them what you want and get a price.

Or at Tiger Direct,

on left frame, click on barebones kits, configure online and compare that to the Dell price. (I think you can still do that at Gateway, but not sure)

E-Machine is a low-cost machine. My daughter has had one for a few months and hasn't had any trouble with it.

There should be toll-free telephone numbers at these sites also.

Check Price Watch site for component prices: http://www.pricewatch.com

Sometimes you can buy one cheaper than building it yourself.

Hope this helps you.

Dell maybe. I saw on a commercial where they supposedly customize the computer to fit the customers demand
