We are to judge by the Laws written in the Torah.
Sad thing is few Christians know how to judge anyone.
As the saint are to judge the angles we are to judge our fellow men by the same standard.

I usually judge based on first impressions, even if they aren't true. I hate to say that i do, but whenever I first see a person, I take a mental note of what they are doing and keep that note about them forever.

But I usually base it on morals and behavior as opposed to anything else. I would call myself judgmental, although I don't mean to be. I guess it's just a natural tendency.

That's a good question.

I try not to "judge" per se, but then everyone does it on some level whether they want to or not. An impression you have of someone is a type of judgement as well.
As far as my opinions of others is concerned though, I try to base it on their actions mostly. How they act, how they interact, what they do with others, etc. I try and not base my judgements on age, size, colour, dress, etc. I respect those who otherwise do not give me a reason not to. I always try to treat everyone equal when I first meet them. And I hope that others do the same to me. I went through the "not quite conventional" looking stages and had odd looks and pre-judgements made against me. I try not to do that to others, and often stand up for them when someone else makes a pre-judgement which I feel is unworthy.

I try not to judge them at all. But, mainly I judge people by their way of thinking and their ability to forgive.

Anyone who answers that "I don't judge." is lying, especially to themselves. We all make value judgements everyday, it is part of our conciousness/psychology. I try to avoid "snap judgements" . I try to give people the opportunity to show me what kind of person they are and then I make my judgement. It usually takes a while for people to reveal their true nature.
