great britain and the u.s put together is clearly world power.the u.s is simply more powerful then britain.theu.s is the biggest econamy in the world while britain is the 4th biggest econamy.when britain had the british empire they were clearly more powerful,its a tough question because britain have a better trained millatry and secret sevices such as mi5 and mi6.the u.s also wouldent be able to nuke britain because where it is located,it would lead to tidal waves 400 times bigger then the recent ones which would end up wiping a lot of the u.s anyway.also the u.s wouldent want to go with britain because of our commanwealth which the queen is head of state.the commanwealth is a democratic version of the old empire including countrys such as ,canada,australia,new zealand,india and lots more.so if you look at like that it would be the same as 1812,a draw.but without stuff like that the u.s would probebly end up winning but u.k would do a lot of damage to the united states econamy,which other countrys would see as a great chance to start attcks on both.if britain and america went to war that would clearly be the end of them both.

the USA has a much bigger land mass, but what would constitute a win? their would be mutual destruction because both have more nukes than they can use. the population of the USA would be diminished by allot but would probably out last the smaller population of Britain.
i guess it would come down to how many people are left. in any case the USA and Britain are best of friends so i doubt very highly that they would go to war.

im not british or an american but i think tht BRITAIN wud win...
its coz they have a big empire (british empire) and if theres
gonna be a war... they couls just call other countries who are
part of the empire and easily blow up the us.. LOL! its like
BRITAIN & CANADA & GUYANA & all other british colonies

a war between nuclear powers would be pretty devestating. the U.S. might "win", but the very idea of such o a conficts is pretty stupid.
