lol all they do is tell us to do stuff.........ummmmm okay you represent "A-town" WHO CARES! well atleast they arent talking about money, women and booties......but they mension it sometime in their song or videos. lol well im just tired of those songs..........i just want to hear some songs/raps that are meaningful......that you cant ever get tired of and relate to.

yes hip hop/rap songs have such potential to affect, inspire young kids etc. & I wish they would write some intelligent, thoughtful, political, anything! lyrics which they do but only 1x every 10 years or so by my count.

I got tired of the rap-crap scene long ago. Why any intelligent person would want to hear most of it is beyond me. It's been hashed, re-hashed and then again so many times, it's pathetic. It's not that I have anything against black musicians, quite the contrary. 50% or more of my favorite artists are black. I also got tired of the corporate radio syndrome that this country is in now. Same 25 songs, over and over,regardless of the genre. I personally decided to go back in time to the roots of many of today's music styles - the Blues. There are so many differing styles of just ' blues', that after seven years of discovery and following each style up to the present-day, I've discovered that I have only just begun to discover! This will especially hold true for people who have just had a hard life - it seems like someone is putting your life to music and lyrics. And what is so incredible about it is that some of it is so old, it will just amaze you.

Yes! It IS very hard to come by meaningful songs these days. My favorite Is Incubus (drive), BLue October (Into the Ocean and Hate me), And Hinder (Lips of An Angel). Try Them Out! They are Awesome!
