download a keylogger, install it on her computer, and then you can check to see everything she typed since you turned it on.

You can't. Maybe you should have thought of that before you got her the computer. If you don't trust her and it appears that you don't move the computer in an area where you can monitor whats going on. Talk to her about her activity on the computer and other areas of her life. Trust seems to be the issue. You also never mentioned her age.

Sounds to me like you and your daughter have more problems then e-mail and having brought up 3 daughters with my wife I understand the difficulties girls have of growing up. That said instead of showing her it is OK to be dishonest that you be the adult "bite your tongue" and start complimenting instead of complaining. It will be very hard in the beginning but positive actions work far better then negative actions
