There are many utilities for downloading YouTube videos (swf files) and putting them on your iPod. Here is a detailed article...

I know! Download the VideoDownloader extension for Mozilla Firefox and save the video to your computer. The same extension offers a free converter to convert it to mpg.
To get it onto your iPod, you will need to find a mpg to mp4 converter.
Try this: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22MPEG+to+MP4%22&btnG=Google+Search
There are a lot of programs out there that will do the job, you can pick which one you like.

I have a PSP, and to put video into it, from my PC, it has to be in MPEG 4 format. Most DVD's and home video are not MPEG 4, so it has to be in that format already, or you have to purchase some software that converts it from one format to another.
Good luck! (I don't know if the iPod requires MPEG 4 format, but I'm guessing it does.)

I don't think it's illegal, since I'm assuming your bought the dvd and you're not planning to sell it, but I don't know how to do it.

Young child, you should use spell check, correct grammar, and other important things. You should not do this, as this is stealing. So, honey your answer is no!
