i would like to go over to america for the summer to work but i'm not sure how to get a job over there before i go. i will have finished my first yr of my degree in accounting and would like to be in that general area. can you help please?

Are you good with kids? Do you have any child care experience? If so, you could come over as a summer au pair. Check with one of the local au pair placement companies in your area. (Some names to try are aupairinamerica.com and goaupair.com and greataupair.com). You don't say if you are male or female or where you are from. But these place from many European, south american and asian countries. I have had friends that have had both male and female au pairs. But remember, you do have to work, enjoy kids, and have kid experience. Many au pairs come here that are going to college/university overseas.
