I'd say leave it a few years and see if you both feel the same way. People change a huge amount before they reach their early twenties. What she wants now might now be what she wants in a few years. And you might not want the person she becomes.

age is a number not a personality, you are old enough to decide for yourself and dont need advice, perhaps you need therapy? if you love her as you say you do allow her to be 16, allow her to grow and do all the things she wants to do and when she is older if she still feels the same way about you then reconsider, my dad is 60 his wife is not even 30, he never pressured her and allowed her to grow up, when she was older and had done the things she wanted she decided she still wanted him, they are now happily married and could care less what people think of them.
