why the hell does fontaine the indian chief think they should get 10.8 million for their indian anti-smoking? they allow smoking in their gov't funded casinos and yet want money to teach their group not to smoke. aren't anti-smoking ads for all and not just for them. fontaine get a real job. work for it and it's yours. in other words earn it and you'll appreciate what you have, something that's no free.

Well, you can't blame him for trying -- wouldn't you?
Actually, part of your comment sounds to me, if I'm reading it right, as if you buy the idea of lazy 'Indians', who don't work for a living, and are just living off of us. If that's what you think, I suggest you do a little research on the subject.
I do agree with you, however, that we are not obligated too say 'yes' to every request.
It's not necessarily a scam.
Most of the leaders in the First Nations community genuinely care about their people and are trying their hardes to find solutions for very real problems - problems that we will end up paying for if they are not resolved, so we might as well sit down with them and see what we can do to help.

do you honestly think the 10.8 mil is going for anti smoking? Its a scam to get money from the government.
