Generally the reason why questions are removed is because the question being asked are not appropriate. Rather then people answering back in ways that are not appropriate or insulting someone they are just taken off.

if nobody answers, you don't have a question. I have had that happen too. After 3 days, nobody could answer my question, they just remove it because there is no more need for it since nobody is going to answer or use it. No big deal, just happens.

Maybe reported abuse or the question was to inappropriate to be asked. So no you really cant ask anything you want but you can ask anything appropriate you want.
