does any one kows how long it take for hummming birds & honeysickles vines to bloom?

live in iowa, planted last fall. grow real good , but no flowers appeared

When shopping for vines at a local nursery I heard the saying: In the first year, they creep; the second year, they sleep; the third year, they leap.

I also planted a honeysuckle and, while it didn't quite follow the saying, it had a lot more blooms this year than last. A lot more.

As long as it's not dying or unhealthy looking, give it another year.
