What would be reasonable to charge people for wrapping their gifts? And how... hourly, per package, etc...

I notice that people aren´t really answering your question. Poeple generally pay 0~5 for gift wrapping at a store, I´d say charge 5 bucks a piece, especially if you are very good at it. The sort of people willing to pay someone else to do this type of thing are not going to be concerned with 5 dollars each. Also, charge an additional dollar if they do not give you the materilas to do it with (this is actually an excuse to charge more since of course they will not give you the materials.) Best of Luck!
PS, try to do an expert job, read up on it etc (unless you are already really good) they will be more likely to come back for the same service next year.

I would think it would only work per package, and then charge extra for add ons, like ribbons, tags, etc if you do something extra. Otherwise it could be a flat rate for each size box. But, keep in mind, lots of malls offer this, and the money usually goes to charity so people might not be so likely to have someone else do it. Also, it will cost you money to buy the paper, etc.
