If you ask an admissions counselor this question (better an A in a regular course, or a lower grade in AP) they always give the same answer - it is better to get an A in AP course.

Why are you taking the AP course? If you are doing it to impress a college, they are not going to be impressed by a C. But if you switch to a lower level course, they are not going to be impressed as much by an A. The best thing to do would be to start working harder and get a B or B+ (or even an A) in the AP course.

If the reason you are taking AP is to get into a top school, then you are going to wind up taking courses that are harder than AP history. so,you need to learn how to deal with that. So, work hard and dont get a C - get a good grade!

Good luck. You can do it if you are determined to succeed!!!!

You better stick it out.you never know.C is not bad..Don;t think it's easy to ace the tests to be able to drop a class in college(is that how it works,or is it a credit?) Can't remember when my son took it,but it was a challange(he did not make the numbers, for the reasons I tried to explain before, at the end ) and he made a couple c's for sure in the regular ap classes, but made it to Dental School(after going to a college two yrs and another college two yrs)...Just go where the wind takes you,is my motto..do your best.Colleges really look at your gp average more so than the SAT(and some do not even consider AP courses ,initially..,but if you just have to get in a certain college, you may have to switch to it later, when your number comes up.Keep your chin up..You will be glad you took those courses later.

sturdy question through ways. at the same time as reading a number of those solutions extremely some human beings right here made extremely some somewhat sturdy factors and gave sturdy examples. All i will assert it relies upon on the artists, the content textile, and the point of putting out an album. Time only isn't an element reckoning on the artists. anybody is diverse and anybody will study what it takes to make it. some human beings have the present at the same time as others favor to paintings like a dogs to be first rate. for my section Nelly is first rate and has some sturdy tracks he comes out with once a three hundred and sixty 5 days. Tupac is a classic. JAY-Z likes to wonder those with something new and paintings at it. It relies upon on someone's flavor in song and words contained in the song.

Well its really that persons decision but i think they should...Though colleges do appreciate advanced courses, I think they would appreciate a student's hard work even more. As long as they try hard and get the best grades they can. If that means getting A's in a lower level go at it. Much better than C's in a class u can't follow.

Yeah, drop it. Colleges will look at your grades very closel this year. They care about the grades, not so much the courses. Take the class in which you'll get the A+
