Move it to the side of the road

You said Minor Collision, well that would probably amount to less than what the Police would consider investigating, consider your Deductable as well. But for the sake of " He said She said , Who said ". I'd chalk the position of the tires from both vehicles do your best to pull out of the line of traffic and place your call to the Police . Enjoy your Wait.

It depends on what State your in!

Some States "require" you to move the vehicles on the side of the road, so you dont impede traffic, while others forbid you to do so, before the Investigating Officer arrives, otherwise, its a he said-she said routine and no one can prove a thing.

I wish you well..

You should take pictures of the crash, exchange insurance with the other party(parties), then if safe move your vehicle to the right side of the road.
