SO now the MUSLIM COMMUNITY is mad at the POPE?
the Pope recently upset the Muslim world with some ill-advised comments concerning the religion of Islam. Other things that have recently upset the Muslim community include Dutch cartoons, the sun, Diet Pepsi, artificial turf, the cast of Lost, Newark, ice cubes and pretty much anything else that isn't exclusively Islamic. Except for Tony Danza. They love that guy.
So why are the rest of us tripping over each other to either write, or read about this stupid crap? Let's just put the fingers in ears, and say "LA LA LA", like when we were kids. I am a muslim, and I don't care what the Pope says.

Yeah true, some people don't really care wut happens or wut someone ssays. But some peaple do believe that u know he is the pope the highest dude in the Christian religion that is livign, andwhat he says has a lot of meaning and effect. As a leader like that you can't say those things. And he is being judgemental, when it says don't b judgemental let God be the one to judge. This kinds of stuff starts stuff in the world. and i guess their reason to b pissed is justified. What do u think the Christians would do if someone just discredited teh pope? They would go crzy. Its all belief, and some people believe it more thatn others and when u toy with people beliefs thats an insult.

I don't know that what the Pope said was "ill-advised". What can you say about the nature of Islam's followers that is too horrible to be true?

The reaction from muslims is stupid.
RELIGION is stupid.
Ya gotta admit, though, that the pope has some nerve -- the guy that leads the church that ran the crusades, wiped out millions of aztecs, indians, and other indigenous peoples when they wouldn't convert...he's calling somebody else "violent"? ha, it is to laugh :)

YOU should be the 13th Imam! If more voices from Islam countered the violence and rush to hate, maybe they, instead of US guns and money, would resolve the current conflict of cultures.
