We're considering the Galaxy model from Apollo Spas, based in the Pacific Northwest. Anyone have experience with them...their products and also service?

King of Freedom - What are you on? Of course I searched yahoo answers and found no answer about the Apollo spas. And wikipedia has nothing on it either. A bit rude to be expecting any sort of positive rating. If you have any real opinion (as you said you asked the exact question) maybe you could enlighten me.

I take it that "Apollo Spas" is a retail business that sells and installs spas. If that is the case, check out this website where actual customers review and rate the services of contractors of all kinds:

If you are lucky, several people will have dealt with them and offered their views. Another source of information is your local Better Business Bureau. I think the best source is to make the business give you the names and phone numbers of at least 5 previous customers. Make sure that you call the references. Most people are unusually candid about their experiences with these types of businesses.

In addition, no matter what brand of spa Apollo attempts to sell you, review the warranty documents carefully. Many warranties are not worth the paper they are written on when all of the exclusions are taken into account. If you have any question, a few dollars spent visiting your family attorney could save you a lot of headaches and money.

Good luck with your spa project.
