have a chevy blazer that idles good, shifts okay but shudders when you hit 30-40 mph. When you first drive it doesn't do this, but after you have driven for a few miles then this happens. Spark plugs, fuel filter, pvc , apg all have been changed. Does shift hard when cold but fine after it warms up. Any advice on what this may or may not be? O2 senros is what we were told, but NO engine light comes on. THanks

If it's shuddering it is probably the torque convertor locking up inappropriately. Take it by a transmission shop and have a mechanic drive it. Anyone with any experience can tell if that is what is happening by test driving it.

Sounds weird but I drove a few big Chevy Blazers in the military. If you mean the steering wheel shakes you may have a worn out steering dampener. It will cause a shuttering at certain speeds or when you hit bumps.
The steering dampener is nothing more than a shock absorber attached to your steering linkage. And is easy to over look. Unbolt One end of it and try to compress the shock. If it goes in and out with no effort then Bingo it's bad and should be replaced. It should be difficult to compress,or pull out if it's working properly.
We had a Blazer that we called a CUCV. Sounded like Cook Vee
we banged our heads trying to figure out why it would shutter like this.It would shake almost violently on this particular vehicle. And do it at certain speeds like you've indicated. And we've had others that just shuttered a little.
I know this doesn't sound like your problem to you. But trust me! Check it.
