I just sold off bunch off stocks and am looking for something else to put the money in. Any ideas I can do some research on

Energy companies (oil, electricity, etc), pharmaceutical companies, procter & gamble (people will keep shaving, showering, brushing their teeth and they do NOT want to change brands, ever.) Keep in mind that because of all the retiring baby boomers, broad mutual funds will tank and flat line for 10 to 15 years starting in 2009 or 2010. The media will not say this because they don't want the whole country to pull their money out of the stock markets. Don't be one of the hundreds of millions ten years from now who are scratching their heads while their family's financial future stalls going through weak ups and downs for at least a decade. If you need proof on this, research the Japanese economy in the 1980's. Same thing happened, dude...
