Sort of. I've been in a bunch of research studies at the local university where I have done such things as:

* pretended to gamble, and answered questions on how gambling made me feel;
* answered trivia questions, predicting my success and others' success, and then answering personality questions;
* examining others' test answers and predicting their success on a third test.

It's pretty fun, and the people are usually fairly businesslike .... you might almost say "clinical" .... so there you go, I guess we'll just say that I've been in a clinical research study.

It's pretty fun, and it's easy money. I highly recommend it. Just don't do anything where they inject you, or where they don't tell you up-front how much you're making!!

No, but once I was in the mall with my teenage daughter and her friend, and they talked me into doing this 'survey' thing where you take about '1/2 hour' and make some 'money'. >kaCHINGGG!< "Let's do this!", I said.
Well, they had different product packaging and you had to say which looked most appealing , and they gave a choice of product names, and you picked which were the least stupid sounding, and after like, an HOUR, I got a lousy five bucks for my time, and the girls each got $2.oo.....(-?-)
