It depends on if you lived forever, or had eternal youth. If you just lived forever, would your body physically progress at a normal rate? There is a fable about that I believe.
Personally, when it is my time, I will be ready leave this world behind and enter eternity in Heaven.
I read a great book that sort of relates to this question called "Forever." It's by Pete Hammill and about a guy who moves to Manhattan in the 1700's and will be able to live forever if he stays on the island. You might find it interesting!

I agree with Astral Fairy in the first instance because if it is the fountain of eternal youth even a tiny sip would have the same effect as half a gallon. I think that living forever young would be a curse. All your friends would die, do you think you could handle that?

The fountain is an allegory of the "water of life" told of by Jesus. I have drunk and will live forever. So can you.

It would indeed be wonderful to never have to worry about growing old and dying. However, there are problems with living forever too. One would watch as those they loved died and keep dying, one would experience untold financial hurdles that would constantly have to be handle, one would have to live in a government after goverment, maybe peacefully, may not and most likely not, mankind is a waring nature and death and destruction would be something you would watch like a continued rerun of the world and ALL its horrors. One would I think eventually have to suclude themselfs from the harshness of society and the world about them, life would not be as simple as it seems when we are young, for you have not lived yet to see the reality of living in the world forever. There is a song:
There's no time for us
There's no place for us
What is this thing that builds our dreams yet slips away from us
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever....?
There's no chance for us
It's all decided for us
This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever?
Who dares to love forever?
When love must die
But touch my tears with your lips
Touch my world with your fingertips
And we can have forever
And we can love forever
Forever is our today
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever?
Forever is our today
Who waits forever anyway?
After a while live would be unbearale in the material existance.

No! I don't want to live forever. I want to live this life and die so I can experience new things in new lives.
Well, maybe I would take just a little sip so I can live longer but not forever.

I would!!! As long as the love of my life did. I'd be nothing without him. How fun would it be to have a group of people that lived forever.

Would you really want to live forever?! I would think that it would be very lonely after all my loved ones are gone.
