Me and my son are discussing survival skills. I have heard of drinking your urine since its 95% water and only deadly if in your blood stream. But was interested in if you could actually eat some of your bowel movement to survive for awhile.

Only if you want a mouth full of bacteria and a stomach full of worms.

No because of the bacteria. But they say urine. I do know that urine is close to being sterile. Once it hits air the bacteria that i could contain cannot survive. You remember the guy that got trapped under that boulder for about 6 days and had to cut off his own arm while he was down there. In an interview he said that when his water ran out, he started saving his urine so he could drink that. He recorded the whole thing bc if he died he wanted whoever found his body would have the tape.

Actually you can survive if you drink your own urine! It has things in the urine that have been pushed out your body but it sometimes has good vitamins that our bodies expel because we don't need it! It's not all bad! You do have to drink it as soon s it comes out because it's sterile. Anytime after that it's bad! It's a good way to survive Dehydration. I've never heard of eating your own feces!

I'd suggest counselling.

Food and beverages are so much more enjoyable!

Feces are what the body discards AFTER nutrients have been digested out. The same applies to urine.

Nope... these waste products are just that .. waste.. and are full of bacteria and other germs that will not extend your life but could very easily shorten it to a great degree.

I wouldn't recommend it. There is a reason your body got rid of it already. But why don't you go ahead and find out?
