usually the floor is, but i have been there and they have put seats up. also, the balcony is not. there are seats up there.

General admission means there are no assigned seats, not that every show is the same price. The tickets are different prices because of the act. It's why the Rolling Stones are $75 and you can see KC and the Sunshine Band for about $5

@BadWolf6 - ALL of the 'uber rich' donate to BOTH main parties. It's their way to not be seen to favor one over the other. I have NO doubt that Obama's 50th b/day is an important event and he IS the POTUS. How can he not celebrate and be with his family and friends AND still be the POTUS !!?? In the general public, we all celebrate certain milestones. I had a great party for my 50th. I had a great party for my 60th. I had a great party for my 65th !! I've attended and brought a gift to many friends over the years who have reached the same milestones. In the case of Obama, it only SEEMS to be overkill, but the POTUS is bound to be feted, big time, and there is nothing he can or should do to stop such things. Cheers
