Age, diet, and stress are factor that can change your skin. That being said, there isn't a skin cleansing regiment that will eliminate oily skin. You could try using a cleanser and moisturizer that is specifically for oily skin; it will not have as much oil as whatever cleanser you are currently using. Therefore, your shine problem will be under more control. L'Oreal has a great cosmetic line maybe you should give it a try

Aside from doing all the right things, it is essential that you aren't doing anything to make matters worse. For example, if you are using a moisturizer, even an oil-free moisturizer, stop immediately. Your oil glands are already working overtime and this oil is your own built-in moisturizer. There is no reason to add more. If your oily skin is still driving you nuts, my favorite trick is to use Milk of Magnesia and apply an extremely thin layer of it over the most oily areas. Let it dry, and then apply your foundation over top. When it comes to powdering, try loose powder instead of pressed powder. Even when pressed powder is oil-free, the wax-like ingredients that keep it in a pressed form can add to a slick feeling on the face. As a last resort, speak to your dermatologist about medical options for taming oily skin, which can range from birth control pills to hormone blockers and, in extreme cases, Accutane.

I had the same problem and I found that Mary Kay makes a really great product. Go online to marykay.com to find a representative (they sell it from home) and ask about Velocity. They have a great cleanser and an oil-free moisturizer. They also have toners for extra control, and the smell is yummy! No matter what you use, make sure it's gentle and oil-free. Harsh cleansers dry out your skin, causing it to produce more oil to compensate, and heavy moisturizers only add to your problem. Wash your face twice a day, and never ever sleep in your makeup. Wear light, oil-free makeup if you can. Again, Mary Kay has a great selection. Good luck!

Unfortunately, you can't "get rid" of oily skin. There are some tactics you can use to alleviate it, though. Try cleaning your face at night with Noxzema. Apply liberally, then rinse with warm water, and apply an astringent. Almost any brand will do. Wash your face again in the morning with Noxzema and apply a moisturizer. If you wear makeup, choose one specifically formulated for oily skin. During the day, you may want to apply a small amount of powder formulated for oily skin to your nose, forehead, and chin. You may have to experiment with several products before you find some that work. You don't have to stay with one brand for everything.

You will have oily skin the rest of your life. Your goal is to find the best skin regimen to address your problem. Those of us with oily skin usually do not have the wrinkle problems of our "dry skin" sisters or brothers.

I have oily skin too. I believe you can try the products that go on like powder but theyre a foundation. I live in down south in N.O. so during the summer I dont wear make up. I will tell you though that people with oily skin tend to have the less wrinkles when they get older versus someone with dry skin. I know its aggravating but be thankful too.

Well Bath and Body Works has really good products, so go there and ask someone that works there what product she would recommend for oily skin. And if you don't like it or it doesn't work for you then you can return it.
Hope I helped
GOOD LUCK

changing your habits will help. Change your pillow case at least once a week. Also, drink a lot of water. Seriously, it really helps. Start by drinking one glass of water a day in place of something else. Gradually increase till you're drinking at least 4 glasses a day. In a couple weeks, you'll really notice a change in your complexion.
