Not very a attractive quality in anybody. Right about the same level as arrogance.

My personal feelings are to let your character speak for you...and reveal who and what you are. I think a cocky attitude is somewhat of a put down to others. Its the act of saying I am better than you. I don't understand when and why there is a need to have to express that.
When one has true finesse and class, it exudes from within.
When you display a humble attitude with those qualities it put you above being cocky.

being cocky turns men off because they get the impression that she thinks she's so hot she can have anybody she wants.when i meet a girl thats cocky i turn around and go the other direction.just be yourself,don't try to be something your not.i'm not saying that your not good looking or attractive at all.i'm just saying don't go out of your way to impress a guy.you have nothing to prove to anybody.you are who you are and you don't have to put on a mask to get someone to like you.men like a women thats down to earth.just be you and that alone should be good enough for anyone.if they can't except you the way you are you don't need then.take care and good luck pete

Being cocky no matter who you are is stupid and makes you look like a complete idiot. THe only people who will want to be around you are fake @ss people who for some sick reason enjoy being followers and are too scared to be on their own.
If I see a guy or a girl that is cocky it literally makes them ugly...not on the inside but their appearance. Real people wont waste their time on you if thats what you want to be.

That's a bad quality in everyone. Self-confidence is good, but egotism is an awful quality. If you (meaning the cocky one) want to have friends, have some humility!

I do not like an cocky attitude. Its okay to be a positive and confident person. JUST NOT COCKY, especially in a female. They are suppose to be lady like not COCKY.

Bad that is why guys are better friends they just chill and don't try so hard.They are not picky about who the be friend either the way a cocky person would be.

Women will say it's bad because they think of girls like that as a threat, or someone stealing their men. But it's an EXTREMLY HOT quality for most men, unless they're effeminate and can't handle it.

depends if u r confident then it is good bragging or too cocky is not but women/girls need a lot of cokiness in the planet or else u won't get anywhere
