try the educational forums, if CCC had been anywhere near one he would have found that the americans did indeed invent the chips, but it was an englishman who invented the computer (Charles Babbage) and that another invented the web (Timothy Berners-Lee)
although i will admit the babbage bit is open to a bit of debate

Problem is the yanks founded the net, and its geographically a large place, with lots of computers.
In the early days, most computers came from tandy...an american electrical shop, now no more, before dixons started selling the sinclair spectrum!
So the yanks have always been ahead in computers, mainly cause theyre lazy and it does it for them.
Of course, this is the english speaking net, electronics in the east is huge, but the mandarin web wouldnt make much sense to us.
Its interesting, that, im sure, google founders were english? but google pants, you'll get trousers, etc etc...

Well we invented the computer chips the computers the net etc, so we are entitled i would say more like moronic Canuks. Are you all so rude. BTW I am a yank in Canada. Without us your economy would fall.
your media is anti american it is laughable they often never bother to fact check so you assume you know the truth. break down asume and you know what you get.
Oh yes we also have more colleges, universities to the Canuks than in some states than you do in all of Canada.
Go to say any major border crossing and most vehicles are headed to the US not North. Tourism from the us is way off which is hurting the Canadian economy. Rudeness is scaring the americans off. hint we spend the most in Canada. NO one else comes close.
